An entry to the 2021 SAAM Game Jam Arcade!
You, The People! Is a game about the role of the individual and the community in creation and is a critique of the "Great Man" theory of history. Though there certainly are "Great Men", people who have extremely innovative or influential ideas, without support or broader action within a society ideas stay entirely theoretical and irrelevant.
What good is the Mona Lisa if no one ever gets to experience it?
To explore this, I've created 5 levels from throughout recorded history with a challenging twist on the traditional limited move puzzle system.
Controls
Arrow keys - Move straight in one direction.
"R" - Restart the level
"Z" - Skip the level (I'd much rather you skip a level and finish the game than get stuck and give up!)

Which engine did you use?
Clickteam Fusion2.5 but I really wouldn't recommend it for anything bigger or more complex. Currently transitioning to Godot. Thank you for playing!
